Description:

Family Promise provides temporary housing, meals and case management to area homeless families. There must be a minor child in custody. Single, unaccompanied men or women are not eligible for the program. A criminal background check is required, and a drug test is performed at the intake interview. This is a 30-to-60 day program. Families must be willing to work their case management plan with the ultimate goal of obtaining permanent housing.

Eligibility:

There must be a minor child in custody. Clients must be willing to work case management plans. Background checks and random drug tests will be performed. No active substance abuse or domestic violence. No active serious untreated mental illness. Can not accept Violent-Crime Convictions, Sexual Offender/Predator Status, Grand-Theft Convictions.
